Western Colorado Photo Database
This database is both a working database in which you can search for historic photos and documents of Western Colorado and an example of the type of on-line historic archive database we can custom build for your organization, family, or individual website Contact us if you are interested in a similar database or in having us organize your original documents according to archival standards.
This database includes 1,500 photographs and documents from the Gunnison County area,organized in categories by family surname, event, or place. It also can be searched by date or location. Some of the documents and photos in this collection are not from Colorado, but they relate to Colorado families that are in the database. Click on a surname,place, or event to view related documents and photographs, or do a more specific search (right). You may download a high resolution copy of a document or photograph for $5 each or order a retouched archival print of it (prices listed by print size) Payment is by Paypal.
In order to keep the database growing, we provide downloads free to those who provide us in turn with digital or print copies of documents and photographs related to Western Colorado history. The exchange is one copy for one copy. Please contact us with inform- ation on items you would like to add to the collection and list the items you would like copies of in return. Please list the name and number of each item you want. We generally do not accept duplicates unless our copy is poor quality. Please include as much caption information as possible as an aid to other researchers who use the database.
